I am in Singapore for a short holiday; can I enroll my children in the program?

Yes. Please sign up as per normal.

What do I bring to class?

Please dress in appropriate sports attire and basketball shoes. You will need to bring your own basketball.

What will a player learn in the program?

Players learn and understand the fundamental skills in the game of basketball. The game can be divided into the following: footwork, ball handling/dribbling, passing/receiving, shooting, rebounding, offense and defense. We also believe in developing players overall development. Life skills are taught throughout the program to provide a powerful positive influence on all participants, such as: fair play, teamwork, education/career, health & nutrition, mental training, etc.

Letter Of Recommendation (1)

Can a player receive a letter of recommendation for purpose of pursuing basketball and education?

Yes but only after a minimum of 1 year completion of program (4 terms), tournament participation and 90% attendance as well as demonstration of sportsmanship qualities. Please discuss this ahead of time, preferably before enrolment with the Head Coach.

1-on-1 & Customized Classes (1)

I wish to engage the coach separately for a private lesson.

We do not encourage our coaches to have private arrangements with parents whose children are with LJE Sports Pte Ltd.

All private and customized classes have to be authorized by LJE Sports Pte Ltd. Unauthorized arrangements may result in immediate termination from program and request for refunds will not be entertained.

We will not be liable for any injuries that occur outside of the knowledge of the LJE Sports Pte Ltd.

Payment Matters (4)

When is payment due?

Payment is due immediately upon receiving our invoice which you will receive through your inbox. Please ensure that you provide us your updated details.

How do I pay?

Payments can be made by: PayPal (with or without a PayPal account as you can use your credit card for payment through PayPal).

Cheque payment L J E Sports Pte Ltd. Please put your child’s name as reference to facilitate quick identification. Cheque is to be mailed to 300 Tampines Avenue 5, NTUC Income Tampines Junction #09-02, Singapore 529653.

Online transfer to account UOB 3663 074 774. Please inform us immediately of your online transfer via email to facilitate quick identification.

Why do I have to pay insurance every term?

We wish to consistently provide a safe and sound environment for each player. Each term a minimal sum is imposed to ensure your child will be able to practice, play and learn in a worry and stress-free environment. LJE Sports programs are insured with Great Eastern Singapore.

What happened if I’m late for payments?

If payment is not received before commencement of 1st lesson, your child will not be allowed to participate in the following training sessions, until payment is received. No refund or make-up class will be granted for non-payment.

Pro-ration & Make-Up Lessons (3)

We will be away and will miss some lessons during the term.

No pro-ration will be granted for missed lessons.

I am an existing student, will I be able to join after the term has started, and will the fees be pro-rated?

Pro-ration is only applicable for new sign ups who joins during mid term

My son/daughter was unwell and missed a lesson, can we arrange for make-up lessons.

Make up lessons are only allowed during same term and not to be carried over to the next term. Maximum of 2 days allowed per term for Make-up lessons, Medical Certificate must be produce. Please email contact.us@ljesports.com to make arrangements.

Refund Matters (1)

Can I request for a refund?

Unfortunately, refunds are not applicable with our programs, courses, classes, training or events.

Tournament (1)

In order to be able to participate for tournament, a child must sign up for at least 1 weekly class and attend the tournament training. This is to ensure the same level of skills and competitiveness.
